Adventures Of The Smurfs Game

Okay, so Adventures of the Smurfs on Game Boy Color is way more charming than I expected. You start off just outside the village—bright colors, chirpy music, all that—and immediately get thrown into helping Smurfette collect mushrooms while avoiding Gargamel’s traps. Classic platforming, but with that weirdly satisfying Smurf vibe.
The controls are simple (jump, duck, toss berries at enemies), but some of those later levels get sneaky with hidden paths and tricky jumps. I got stuck for way too long in the forest zone because I kept missing a vine swing. And yeah, Gargamel shows up at the worst moments—dude just loves ruining a good mushroom run.
It’s not groundbreaking, but if you grew up with the cartoon or just want something lighthearted, it’s a solid little time capsule. The music’s weirdly catchy, too. I still hum the village theme sometimes.
