Remember that weird Elmo movie where he ends up in Oscar the Grouch’s trash-filled world? Yeah, this is the Game Boy Color version of that. You basically run around as Elmo collecting stuff (because of course you are) while avoiding grouchy obstacles. The graphics are about what you’d expect from a late-90s licensed game—bright colors, blocky sprites, and that one annoying enemy type that always seems to pop up at the worst time.

It’s not exactly deep, but if you were the kind of kid who watched Sesame Street on repeat, there’s some nostalgia here. Just don’t expect it to hold up like a proper platformer. The music’s kinda catchy, though.
