About Acrobat Kid
Acrobat Kid came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2000, developed by KID and published by Natsume. It was part of that early wave of GBA platformers, arriving before the system's library became crowded with more famous franchises. The game had a simple, clear look that felt right at home on the small screen.
You control a young acrobat navigating a series of single screen rooms. Your goal is to collect all the keys in a stage to unlock the exit door. The main mechanics are your character's wall jump and a double jump, which you use to scale tall vertical shafts and cross wide gaps. The levels are compact puzzles built around precision platforming; one wrong move often sends you back to the start of the room. The difficulty is consistent and demands careful timing with your leaps. It feels satisfying to finally clear a tricky section after a few attempts.
