About 2 In 1 - Uno & Skip-bo (u)(sir Vg)
I picked up 2 In 1 - Uno & Skip-Bo for the Game Boy Advance, a cartridge that came out in 2000. It was published by Majesco, and it fits right in with that era of the GBA where you saw a lot of these portable, digital versions of classic card games. It was a straightforward way to have two familiar games in your pocket.
You don't control a character; you just play the cards. The main goal in Uno is to be the first to get rid of all your cards by matching color or number, while Skip-Bo is about sequencing numbered cards to clear your personal stockpile. The key mechanics are using action cards in Uno to force your opponents to draw or skip their turn, and in Skip-Bo, you build sequential piles in the center from 1 to 12. The pacing is quick, and the AI provides a decent challenge, making you think a few moves ahead. It feels like having a reliable, quick card game session whenever you have a few minutes to spare.
