About 2 In 1 - Uno & Skip-bo (e)(supplex)
I picked up 2 In 1 - Uno & Skip-Bo for the Game Boy Advance back when it was a new release. It was published by a group called sUppLeX, and it fit right in with the era's trend of bringing classic card games to a handheld screen. This was a time when having a portable collection of games you could play anywhere was a big part of the GBA's appeal.
You don't control a character; you simply play the cards from your hand. The main objective in Uno is to be the first to get rid of all your cards by matching color or number, while Skip-Bo requires you to build sequential stacks from one to twelve. Key mechanics include using action cards in Uno to force opponents to draw or skip turns, and in Skip-Bo, managing your personal stockpile and building up the center piles. The pacing is quick, and the difficulty comes from the unpredictable moves of the AI opponents. It feels like having a reliable, compact card club in your pocket.
