I picked up 2 In 1 - Spy Hunter & Super Sprint for the Game Boy Advance. It was a budget release, one of those compilations that were common for the platform, bundling two older arcade titles into a single cartridge. The publisher isn't a name I recall, but it was a straightforward way to get two different kinds of action in your pocket.
In Spy Hunter, you drive an armed sports car down a scrolling highway. Your objective is to survive as long as possible while taking out enemy vehicles with machine guns or oil slicks. The signature mechanic is the weapons van you drive into to upgrade your car. Super Sprint is a top-down racer where you control a tiny car on single-screen tracks. You race against other cars, collecting wrenches to upgrade your speed and handling while avoiding hazards. Both games are fast and demand quick reflexes; Spy Hunter is a relentless test of evasion, while Super Sprint is a frantic battle for first place. It feels like having a tiny, noisy arcade in your hands.
