I picked up this Game Boy Advance cartridge, 2 in 1 - Madagascar Operation Penguin & Shrek 2, a while back. It was published by Activision, I believe, and it's exactly what it says: two separate games on one cart. It fits right in with that era of licensed platformers that were everywhere on the GBA. You get two different adventures based on the movies, which was a decent deal for a handheld title.

In Madagascar: Operation Penguin, you control the penguin, Private, through side scrolling levels. Your main goal is to rescue your fellow penguins from the zoo. You run, jump, and use a fish to stun enemies. The Shrek 2 portion lets you switch between Shrek, Fiona, and other characters, each with their own simple ability, to fight through linear stages. Both games involve a lot of collecting items and navigating environmental hazards. The pacing is straightforward, and the difficulty is generally manageable, though some jumps require precise timing. It feels like a solid, no frills way to pass the time if you enjoy the movie characters and simple action.
