I picked up a copy of 2 In 1 - Disney Principesse & Il Re Leone for the Game Boy Advance. It was a budget release, one of those independent compilations that were common for the platform. You get two separate Disney adventures in one cartridge, which was a straightforward way to offer more content without a high price.
In the Princess section, you control a heroine through side scrolling levels, using a simple attack to defeat enemies. The Lion King part is also a side scroller where you play as Simba, navigating platforms and pouncing on hyenas. Both games involve collecting items scattered through the stages and defeating a boss at the end of each world. The pacing is methodical, and the difficulty can be unforgiving with precise jumps required. Moving through these colorful, condensed versions of the films feels like a direct and uncomplicated trip through their worlds.
