Alright, so 007: The World Is Not Enough on Game Boy Color—it’s basically a top-down spy romp where you play as Bond, sneaking around, shooting bad guys, and occasionally defusing bombs before they go off. The controls are simple—d-pad to move, A to shoot, B to interact—but don’t expect anything fancy. It’s got that classic GBC look, with chunky sprites and a soundtrack that tries (and mostly succeeds) at sounding Bond-ish.
First mission drops you right into the action—some snowy Russian facility, I think? You’ve got your silenced PPK, a few gadgets, and a timer ticking down while enemies patrol in predictable loops. The aiming’s a little stiff, but you get used to it. Later levels mix in some driving sections, which are… fine, I guess? They’re not terrible, but they’re not exactly GoldenEye either.
If you’re into Bond or just miss that late-’90s handheld vibe, it’s a decent way to kill an afternoon. Just don’t expect a masterpiece.
