Play 007 : Nightfire Online

I picked up 007: NightFire for the Game Boy Advance back in 2002. It was developed by Eurocom, a studio that made a few Bond games around that time. On the GBA, a system packed with platformers and RPGs, this was one of the attempts to bring a first person shooter to the handheld, which always felt like a tricky thing to pull off with that single screen.

You control James Bond through a series of missions, moving screen by screen to clear areas of enemies and complete objectives like planting explosives or rescuing hostages. The core mechanics involve shooting with a limited auto aim, using a selection of different guns you pick up, and navigating the somewhat maze like levels. The game is quite difficult; enemies respawn, your health doesn't regenerate, and ammo conservation is a constant concern. It feels like a tense, methodical crawl through hostile territory where every corner turned requires a quick decision.
