Okay, so this is one of those rare Game Boy Color FPS games that actually kinda works. You play as Bond, obviously, and it’s got that classic GoldenEye vibe but squeezed into a tiny screen. The controls take a second to get used to—you move with the D-pad and aim with A/B—but once it clicks, blasting through levels feels surprisingly smooth.
First mission drops you right into a snowy dam (very GoldenEye, right?), taking out guards with silenced pistols before things inevitably explode. The pixelated visuals somehow make Bond look both ridiculous and cool, and the music nails that spy thriller feel. Not gonna lie, it’s janky by modern standards, but there’s charm in how ambitious it was for a handheld in 2000. If you’ve got nostalgia for Bond or weird GBC experiments, it’s a fun little time capsule.
