If you're into classic anime fighters, Yuu Yuu Hakusho Final on SNES is a solid pick—especially if you grew up with the series. It's a 2D fighter where you pick from Yusuke, Hiei, Kurama, and the rest of the crew, each with their own flashy special moves. The sprites are chunky and colorful, just like the show, and the controls feel responsive once you get the hang of the timing.
First match in, you’ll notice the energy meter builds fast—no waiting around to pull off a Spirit Gun or Dragon of the Darkness Flame. The stages are simple but fun, with a few destructible bits here and there. Not the deepest fighter out there, but it nails the chaotic energy of the anime. Definitely one for fans who just want to throw down as their favorite characters.
Also, the Japanese version has this weird but cool "Makai Tournament" mode where you fight through demon ranks. Worth a look if you’ve already burned through the usual versus matches.
