Yogi Bear's Cartoon Capers is one of those weirdly charming SNES platformers that feels like it fell out of a Saturday morning cartoon. You play as Yogi, bouncing around Jellystone Park, grabbing picnic baskets (of course), and bopping enemies with a weird little somersault attack. The controls are floaty, and some jumps feel like they’re just barely possible—but there’s something oddly satisfying about the way Yogi flops around.
The levels are bright and cartoony, with that early ‘90s vibe where everything looks like it was colored with highlighters. You’ll hop on turtles, avoid park rangers, and even ride mine carts at one point. It’s not the deepest game, but it’s got this goofy energy that makes it hard to hate. Just don’t expect anything groundbreaking—it’s pure nostalgia fuel.
If you grew up with Yogi reruns or just love weird retro platformers, this one’s a fun little time capsule.
