About X-men - Mutant Apocalypse (japan)
Capcom released X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1994, a time when the console was home to many licensed action games. This title fit right into that category, offering a side-scrolling brawler based on the popular comic book team.
You control one of five X-Men, including Wolverine and Cyclops, fighting through stages on the island of Genosha. Your main objective is to defeat the villains who have taken over, moving screen by screen through levels filled with enemies and platforming sections. Each character has a unique set of special moves and a super attack that can clear the screen when your meter is full. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty can be punishing, demanding precise jumps and quick reactions to enemy patterns.
