About X-men - Mutant Apocalypse
X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse came out for the Super Nintendo in 1994, developed by Capcom. It was part of that wave of solid licensed games on the system, where you could actually control the characters from the comics. The presentation felt right for the era, with big, colorful sprites and backgrounds that pulled you into the X-Men universe.
You pick from five mutants, including Cyclops and Wolverine, each with their own set of special moves and a unique stage to complete. The main goal is to fight through side scrolling levels, defeat bosses, and ultimately rescue a captured teammate.
