Worms on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System came out in 1995, developed by Team17. You control a team of cartoon worms, taking turns against an opponent's team to eliminate them. The main objective is to be the last team standing by using an arsenal of ridiculous weapons, from bazookas and grenades to exploding sheep and banana bombs. Signature mechanics include the ability to move your worm a limited distance each turn, the need to account for wind strength and projectile trajectory when aiming, and using tools like the ninja rope or jetpack to reach tricky spots on the destructible terrain.
