World Heroes 2 on SNES is one of those fighting games that feels a little rough around the edges but has its own weird charm. It’s a Neo Geo port, so the sprites are chunky and the moves feel stiff compared to something like Street Fighter, but there’s something fun about the over-the-top characters—ninjas, gladiators, even Rasputin throwing fireballs. The Death Match mode is where it gets silly, with electrified floors and spikes popping out of nowhere. Not the most polished fighter, but if you’re into ‘90s arcade weirdness, it’s a fun time.
I still remember picking Hanzo the ninja and spamming his teleport move until my friends got mad. Good times.
