Wolverine: Adamantium Rage came out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1994, published by LJN. It was part of that wave of games based on popular comic book characters, trying to capture the feel of the X-Men in a side-scrolling action format. You control Wolverine through a series of levels, moving screen by screen and using his claws to slash through a variety of enemies.
