Wolfenstein 3D on SNES is one of those games that feels both clunky and weirdly satisfying. You start off in a maze-like Nazi bunker with nothing but a pistol, and within minutes, you're blasting through guards, dodging bullets, and frantically hunting for health packs. The graphics are blocky as hell—this is a 16-bit port of a PC classic—but there’s something about the chunky sprites and eerie soundtrack that just works.
It’s not as smooth as the original, and the controls take some getting used to (good luck strafing with the SNES pad), but once you adjust, it’s a blast. The levels are packed with hidden rooms, secret doors, and the occasional SS officer who just won’t die unless you unload half your ammo into him. And yeah, shooting Nazi robots with a chaingun never gets old.
If you grew up with this or just love retro shooters, it’s a fun time capsule—just don’t expect it to play like modern FPS games. You’ll either hate it or love it within the first five minutes.
