Wolfenstein 3D on SNES is where first-person shooters really kicked off—clunky by today’s standards, but back then, nothing felt as intense as blasting Nazis in those tight, maze-like corridors. You play as B.J. Blazkowicz, sneaking through castles and bunkers with a pistol that somehow never has enough ammo when you need it.
The pixelated blood splatters and those creepy guard shouts ("Guten Tag!") still stick with me. It’s not as smooth as the PC original, but the SNES version has its own weird charm—like how the music gets weirdly dramatic when you pick up a treasure chest. Just don’t expect to lean around corners or aim up and down; this is pure, old-school run-and-gun chaos.
If you can handle the jank, it’s a fun slice of gaming history. Watch out for Hitler in his mech suit.
