About Wing Commander (europe)
Wing Commander came to the Super Nintendo in 1992, a conversion of the PC space combat sim from Origin Systems. On the SNES, it was a notable release, bringing a complex genre to a console better known for platformers and RPGs at the time.
You take the role of a rookie pilot in the Terran Confederation, flying missions against the feline Kilrathi empire.
