If you're into classic space combat sims, Wing Commander: The Secret Missions on SNES is a solid little expansion that slots right between the first and second games. You're back in the cockpit as a Confederation pilot, blasting Kilrathi fighters in those satisfyingly chunky 16-bit dogfights. The missions feel a bit tougher than the original—more of those "oh come on!" moments where you're dodging missiles while your shields are blinking red.
What's cool is they squeezed in some new ships and story bits without making the SNES version feel like a watered-down port. Still has that Wing Commander vibe where you're sweating through debriefings hoping your wingman made it back. Just don't expect FMV cutscenes—this one's all about the gameplay.
Definitely one for fans who burned through the first game and needed more Kilrathi to shoot at.
