Whizz is one of those weird little SNES games that feels like it fell out of a time warp. You play as this magician rabbit—yeah, a rabbit in a top hat—sprinting through these pseudo-3D levels that look like someone tried to make Sonic 3D Blast but with more checkerboard floors and floating platforms.
The whole thing’s a race against the clock, so you’re constantly hopping over gaps and dodging obstacles while the seconds tick down. The controls are a bit slippery, but once you get used to it, there’s something oddly satisfying about nailing a tricky jump at the last second. Just don’t expect deep lore—this rabbit’s got places to be, and zero time to explain why he’s in a hurry.
It’s short, weird, and definitely not for everyone, but if you’re into obscure 90s platformers with bizarre mascots, you might dig it.
