Man, this game takes me back. You start off as this rookie detective at ACME, and suddenly you're jet-setting across the globe trying to track down Carmen's gang—except half the time you're just frantically flipping through your little geography almanac trying to figure out which country uses drachmas or what language they speak in Buenos Aires.
The cases start simple—some thief swipes the Eiffel Tower or whatever—but Carmen's crew gets sneakier fast. You'll be interrogating witnesses in Cairo one minute, then chasing a lead to Tokyo the next. The pixel art somehow makes every location feel distinct, even when it's just a handful of colors.
Best part? You actually learn stuff without realizing it. I still remember random capital cities purely from playing this as a kid. Just don't get too cocky—Carmen's final hideout is brutal if you didn't pay attention to all those clues.
It's one of those rare games that makes you feel smart when you actually solve a case properly.
