About Wedding Peach (japan)
Wedding Peach came out in 1995 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in Japan, developed and published by KSS. It was part of that wave of mid-90s SNES games that tried new things with established formulas, based on the magical girl anime of the same name.
You control Yuri, the civilian identity of the heroine Angel Lily, as she explores side-scrolling stages and overhead map areas. The main goal is to fight through levels, defeat bosses, and rescue your captured friends from the evil Raindevillas. Your primary actions involve running, jumping across platforms, and using a close-range heart-tipped scepter to attack enemies. You also collect heart power-ups to unleash a screen-clearing special attack when the meter is full. The pacing is brisk, with some challenging enemy placements and platforming sections that require precise timing. Playing it feels like a straightforward, action-focused adaptation of the source material.
