About Wayne's World
Wayne's World came to the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1993, published by THQ. It was one of many games from that era based on movies and TV shows, trying to capture the spirit of the source material on the 16-bit console.
You control Wayne Campbell, who gets pulled into a video game world. Your main goal is to rescue Garth, who is repeatedly kidnapped by a giant purple hand. You move through side-scrolling levels set in locations like a concert backstage and a donut factory. The gameplay involves jumping across platforms, avoiding obstacles, and using your guitar to attack enemies by strumming it. You collect CDs to unlock new areas and find power-ups to help you progress. The game moves at a quick pace and can be quite difficult, with enemies and hazards appearing frequently.
