Play Wario's World Online

Wario's World came out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1994, developed and published by Nintendo. It was part of that later wave of SNES games that really pushed what the hardware could do visually. You play as Wario, who is trying to reclaim his treasure after it gets scattered across a strange, haunted castle.

You control Wario directly, moving him through levels screen by screen to hunt down treasure chests. The main goal is to find and open all the chests in each stage, which often requires careful exploration and some backtracking as you gain new abilities. Wario has a few signature moves; he can perform a shoulder charge to break blocks and stun enemies, and he can pick up foes to throw them at other enemies or obstacles. The pacing is deliberate, with levels that are more about figuring out the environment than rushing through. It feels like a methodical treasure hunt where every new screen presents a small puzzle to solve.
