About Wario's Woods
Wario's Woods came out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1994, developed and published by Nintendo. It was a puzzle title that arrived when the SNES library was already full of varied genres, offering a different kind of challenge amidst all the platformers and RPGs.
You control Toad, who runs around inside a single screen filled with monsters and bombs. Your goal is to clear each stage by creating rows of three or more matching colored bombs or monsters, either horizontally or vertically. The twist is that you pick up and carry creatures, then throw them to set up these matches; you can also kick bombs diagonally to set off chain reactions. The game starts calmly but the pacing quickly intensifies as new enemies drop from above, forcing you to think and move fast. It feels like a frantic race against a rising tide of clutter.
