About Wario's Woods (europe)
Wario's Woods came out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1994, developed and published by Nintendo. It was a late release for the SNES, a puzzle game that arrived when the console's library was already well established with many different genres.
You control Toad, who runs around inside a single-screen playfield filled with colored monsters and bombs. Your goal is to clear each stage by creating matches of three or more identical monsters, either horizontally or vertically. The twist is that you pick up and throw these creatures to arrange them, and you can also use bombs to destroy all monsters of a matching color on the screen. The pace is frantic, with new rows of enemies constantly descending from above, forcing you to think and act quickly. It feels like a race against a creeping tide, where a moment's hesitation can lead to the screen filling up completely.
