About Virtual Wars (japan)
Virtual Wars came out in 1996 for the Super Nintendo, a late release from the developer Hect. It arrived when many players were already looking at newer consoles, so it felt like a discovery from the very end of the SNES library.
You command a small squad of soldiers in a turn based strategy format, moving them across grid based maps to eliminate all enemy units. The main objective is to clear each mission by outmaneuvering and destroying the opposition.
