About Virtual Bart (japan)
Virtual Bart came out for the Super Nintendo in 1994, developed by Sculptured Software. It was one of many licensed games from that era, trying to capture the show's humor on the SNES. You play as Bart Simpson, and the game throws you into a series of bizarre, self-contained levels based on different themes.
You control Bart directly, running and jumping through stages like a prehistoric world, a giant school, and a town overrun by babies. Your main goal is simply to get to the end of each stage, but you also collect items and avoid hazards. The gameplay shifts between standard platforming, riding a skateboard while dodging obstacles, and even a first-person shooter segment where you launch tomatoes.
