Utopia on the SNES is one of those weird little strategy gems that flew under the radar back in the day. You're basically building an island nation from scratch—placing farms, factories, and houses while dealing with disasters, riots, and the occasional UFO (seriously). The pixel art has this charmingly blocky look, and the music somehow makes managing tax rates feel dramatic.

First time I played, I went all-in on industry and immediately polluted my island into oblivion. Turns out balancing economy, happiness, and environment is harder than it looks. There's something oddly satisfying about watching your little civilization grow, even when half of it's on fire because you skimped on fire stations.

It's like SimCity's scrappier cousin that never left Japan. Definitely a niche pick, but weirdly addictive once you get the hang of it.
