About Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (europe)
Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 came out for the Super Nintendo in 1995, developed by Midway. It was one of the last big fighting games on the system before the shift to newer consoles, a solid port that pushed the SNES hardware to its limits.
You pick a fighter from a large roster and face opponents one on one in a series of matches. The main goal is to win each fight by depleting your opponent's health bar, either by knocking them out or performing a Fatality. Key mechanics include the combo system, where you chain normal attacks into special moves for more damage, and the Run button, which lets you close distance quickly for pressure. The game is fast and demanding, with a high difficulty that punishes mistakes. Landing a long combo or finally executing a Fatality you've practiced feels intensely satisfying.
