Ever played one of those puzzle games where you think you've got it figured out, and then the game just laughs at you? That's Tsuyoshi Shikkarai Shinasai - Taisen Puzzle-dama in a nutshell. It looks cute with its bright colors and peppy SNES-era soundtrack, but don't let that fool you—this thing gets brutal fast.
You start off matching tiles or whatever, thinking it's just another simple puzzler, but then the AI opponent starts pulling off ridiculous combos like it's cheating. The first time I played, I swear the computer dropped three perfect chains in a row while I was still figuring out the controls. It's got that "one more try" energy, though—even when you lose, you just want to jump back in and outsmart it.
If you're into old-school puzzle games that don't hold your hand, this one's a hidden gem. Just don't blame me when you're muttering at the screen at 2 AM.
