Tsuppari Oozumo: Risshinshusse Hen came out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1993, developed by KSS. You control a rookie sumo wrestler aiming for the top division. The main objective is to win matches and climb the rankings through six tournaments. Signature mechanics include a momentum based pushing system where you build up force for a powerful shove, a strategic stamina meter that depletes with every move and requires careful management, and a training mini game between tournaments to permanently boost your stats. The pacing is deliberate, with each match a tense, quick shoving match where a single mistake can send you out of the ring.
