Troddlers came out for the Super Nintendo in 1993, developed by Atod AB. It was one of those puzzle platformers that felt right at home on the system, sitting alongside other thoughtful action games of the era without necessarily breaking new ground. You don't hear about it too often, but it has its own particular charm.

You control a little wizard who can summon blocks into existence. Your main goal is to guide a group of small creatures, the Troddlers, safely to an exit on each screen. The core of the game is building pathways with these blocks, sometimes to bridge gaps and sometimes to block enemies. You explore each single screen level, figuring out the correct sequence of placements while avoiding or trapping foes. The pacing is methodical; you can't rush, and a single misstep often means starting the level over. It feels like solving a spatial riddle under pressure, where every placed block matters.
