Okay, so Toys on SNES is one of those weird movie tie-ins that somehow got made—based on that Robin Williams flick where everything looks like a toy factory gone rogue. You get four stages, each with this surreal, pastel-colored vibe that kinda nails the movie’s aesthetic. It’s not exactly deep, but there’s something oddly charming about running around as a toy soldier or whatever, dodging giant wind-up gears and bouncing on springs.
Controls are a little stiff, and the camera’s not always your friend, but if you’re into quirky ‘90s platformers with bizarre set pieces (like, why is there a level that feels like a board game?), it’s got its moments. Just don’t expect it to explain much—half the time, you’re figuring out the rules as you go.
