You know that classic Toy Story charm? This SNES game nails it—Woody, Buzz, and the gang look just like they popped out of the movie. It's a side-scroller where you switch between Woody and Buzz, each with their own moves. Woody's got his lasso for swinging across gaps, and Buzz... well, let's just say his laser comes in handy against those toy army men.
First level throws you right into Andy's room, jumping on beds and dodging toy cars. The controls take a second to get used to—Woody's a bit floaty at first—but once you figure out the timing, it feels surprisingly smooth. And the music? Pure 90s nostalgia, with those bouncy MIDI versions of the movie tunes.
Honestly, it's one of those licensed games that actually holds up if you're into platformers. Just don't expect it to go easy on you—some of those later levels get brutal.
