Total Carnage is one of those SNES games that makes you wonder how it even got past censors. You play as one of two soldiers (or both if you've got a buddy) mowing down waves of enemies with ridiculous firepower—flamethrowers, chainguns, the works. The goal? Take down General Akhboob, who’s basically a cartoon villain with a name that sounds like a bad joke.
It’s pure arcade chaos—enemies swarm from all sides, explosions fill the screen, and the whole thing feels like a slightly unhinged Saturday morning cartoon. The controls are simple, but good luck surviving more than five minutes on your first try. You’ll either love the relentless action or wonder why you’re even bothering. Either way, it’s a blast in short bursts.
