Top Management II is one of those weirdly addictive SNES business sims that somehow makes spreadsheets feel exciting. You're basically running a Japanese company—hiring employees, managing departments, and trying not to go bankrupt by quarter three (which I definitely did the first time). The menus are all in Japanese, but there's enough icons and number-crunching that you can muddle through.
What's cool is how different strategies actually play out—you can go full corporate shark with aggressive expansions or play it safe with slow growth. My first successful run involved bribing... I mean, "strategically incentivizing" the sales team. The pixel art board meetings are unintentionally hilarious, too.
It's definitely niche, but if you like old-school management sims with a 90s Japan flavor, this one's oddly satisfying once you get the hang of it.
