Tom's Adventure III is one of those classic Flash platformers that feels simple at first—until you realize the girl's dad and his angry little dog are basically a two-man security team out to ruin your day. You're just trying to grab flowers for her, but they patrol like they're guarding a bank vault.

The controls are straightforward (move, jump, don't get caught), but timing matters. That dog's faster than he looks, and the dad has this weird habit of turning around right when you think you're safe. First time I played, I got cocky and jumped straight into a patrolling mutt within seconds.
