About Tiny Toon Adventures (japan) (rev A)
Konami released Tiny Toon Adventures for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1992. It was part of that wave of licensed platformers that filled the shelves during the 16-bit era, a straightforward adaptation of the popular cartoon.
You control Buster Bunny, Babs Bunny, and Plucky Duck across a series of athletic competitions. The main objective is to win a variety of sporting events, including a marathon, bungee jump, soccer match, and a round of golf. Signature mechanics involve navigating side-scrolling platforming stages, competing in head-to-head events against other characters, and collecting carrots for points or power-ups. The pacing is brisk, and the difficulty can be surprisingly sharp in some of the later events. It feels like a chaotic, cartoonish sports day where you are always switching events.
