Man, Tiny Toon Adventures - Buster Busts Loose! on SNES is pure 90s cartoon chaos in the best way. You start off as Buster Bunny just vibing through Acme Looniversity—until Elmyra shows up trying to hug you to death, and suddenly you're platforming past giant pencils and dodging bullies like Montana Max.
The controls feel surprisingly smooth for an early SNES game, and the levels nail that Saturday morning cartoon energy. One minute you're hopping across floating books in the library, the next you're snowboarding down a mountain while Dizzy Devil chucks snowballs at you. The animation’s got that perfect Warner Bros. squash-and-stretch, especially when Buster does his little victory dance.
It’s not super hard, but some stages will trip you up (looking at you, haunted house with disappearing platforms). And yeah, the music’s catchy as heck—I still hum the carnival level theme sometimes. If you grew up with Tiny Toons or just want a solid platformer with personality, this one’s aged way better than most licensed games.
