Remember that weird little SNES game with Timon and Pumbaa? Yeah, the one with the mini-games. It’s exactly as chaotic as you’d expect—you’ll be flinging bugs into Pumbaa’s mouth one second and dodging hippos in a river the next. The controls are janky in that classic 90s way, but somehow that just adds to the charm.
Hippo Hop is basically Frogger but with way more attitude—those hippos do not care if you make it across. And Bug Drop? Pure nonsense. You’re tossing grubs at a moving target while Timon cheers (or heckles) you. It’s the kind of game you play when you’ve got a friend over and want something stupid to laugh at for 20 minutes. Not deep, but weirdly fun if you’re in the right mood.
Honestly, half the appeal is just hearing Timon’s voice clips—they nailed that sarcastic meerkat energy. Just don’t expect it to hold your attention for more than a session or two.
