About Timeslip
TimeSlip came out for the Super Nintendo in 1993, published by Psygnosis. It was part of that wave of action games that tried to blend different genres, standing alongside other titles that experimented with exploration and combat on the system.
You control a pilot named Slip, navigating a series of interconnected, screen by screen areas. Your main goal is to recover pieces of a powerful artifact scattered across different time periods. You use a sword for close combat and a bow for attacking enemies from a distance. The game involves a lot of backtracking and careful exploration of its dungeons and overworld. The pacing is deliberate, and the difficulty can be unforgiving, demanding precise movement and attacks. Playing it feels like a methodical test of your patience and skill.
