Man, The Tick on SNES is such a goofy, over-the-top beat 'em up—exactly what you'd expect from a game based on that ridiculous blue superhero. You start off punching through waves of weirdos in spandex, and the controls are simple but satisfying. Like, there’s something hilarious about watching The Tick just bowl through enemies with his big, dumb super-strength.
The levels are bright and cartoony, full of little details from the comics (and later the show). The music’s got that classic SNES cheese—upbeat and punchy, like it’s egging you on. And yeah, it’s not the deepest fighter out there, but who cares? Sometimes you just wanna smash stuff as an indestructible lunatic in a moth costume.
If you grew up with the Tick or just love weird 90s superhero stuff, this one’s a blast. Just don’t expect deep strategy—it’s all about the chaos.
