If you grew up watching Ren & Stimpy, this SNES game is basically a playable episode of their weirdest adventures. You jump between levels as either the hyper, screechy Ren or the lovably dumb Stimpy—each with their own moves, which is cool until you realize Stimpy’s belly bounce is way harder to control than it looks.
The levels are packed with gross-out gags straight from the show, like booger monsters and sentient toenails. Some of the platforming’s a little janky (expect to fall into pits because Ren’s jump arc feels off), but the chaos fits the vibe. Pro tip: The log ride level is way easier if you memorize where the instant-death squirrels pop up.
It’s not the smoothest platformer, but the art and sound effects nail that classic 90s cartoon insanity. Just don’t blame me when you get the theme song stuck in your head for days.
