Remember the original Lost Vikings? The sequel cranks everything up—same three goofy heroes, but now they're bouncing through time like a Norse version of Bill & Ted. Erik still runs fast, Baleog swings his sword, and Olaf blocks stuff with his shield, but the puzzles get way more creative this time around.

First level drops you in some Jurassic Park-looking jungle where you gotta use all three of them in sync—like making Olaf shield-jump onto a ledge so Erik can sprint across his back. Later you'll hit weird cyberpunk cities and Egyptian tombs where the solutions aren't always obvious (I got stuck for 20 minutes on a stupid conveyor belt puzzle).

What's cool is how the time travel theme actually changes how you play—one minute you're dodging dinosaurs, next you're rewiring robots. The SNES graphics hold up surprisingly well too, all bright colors and goofy animations. Just don't expect it to go easy on you—some of these puzzles are brutal without a guide.

If you liked the first game or just want a smart co-op puzzler that doesn't treat you like an idiot, this one's still worth digging up.
