Man, The Hurricanes on SNES takes me back. That first level drops you right into the chaos—pixelated explosions everywhere, your character sliding into frame like they’ve got something to prove. The controls feel surprisingly tight for a 16-bit brawler, and the soundtrack? Pure ‘90s synth energy.
I remember thinking the enemy patterns were brutal at first—until I figured out the timing for counters. The sprites have this exaggerated, cartoonish style that somehow makes getting punched in the face by a goon look fun. And yeah, it’s definitely one of those games where you’ll replay levels just to hear the stage music again.
If you’ve got a SNES collecting dust, this one’s worth blowing the cartridge for.
