Okay, so The Great Circus Mystery is one of those SNES games that just oozes charm. You start off with Mickey and Minnie running around this colorful circus world—think spinning platforms, tightropes, and those little cannon things that shoot you across the screen. It’s got that classic Disney vibe where everything’s bright and bouncy, but don’t let that fool you—some of those later levels get sneaky with the platforming.
What I love is how they mix things up. One minute you’re tossing pies at clowns (weirdly satisfying), the next you’re riding a unicycle dodging fireballs. And yeah, the music’s stupidly catchy—I still hum the big top theme sometimes. It’s not super hard, but there’s enough hidden stuff and character swaps (Minnie’s floaty jump vs. Mickey’s speed) to keep it interesting. Definitely a cozy nostalgia trip if you grew up with this era.
Also, low-key best part? Pete as the villain just being extra dramatic about stealing circus props. Classic.
